Hello, I'm Emel Uğurlu.

I am a designer who combines my passion for ceramics with my drive to add aesthetics and meaning to the spaces we live in.

After completing my Business Administration studies at the Middle East Technical University, I spent 23 years working as a financial management consultant. However, over time, I realized that the things I wanted to express were better conveyed through form, texture, and stories, rather than numbers. The growing desire to create led me to start my own ceramic studio.

Today, in my designs, I draw inspiration from the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Anatolia, creating contemporary and unique pieces that bring this rich history into modern living spaces. Each piece is shaped with respect to the past, attention to craftsmanship, and a contemporary design approach. My goal is to offer designs that add soul and character to spaces.
